Infrastructure Finance Associate / London
SSQ is working with a number of leading US and international law firms in London that are looking to grow their Infrastructure Finance teams at associate and senior associate level.
These are excellent opportunities for lawyers with experience across infrastructure, project finance, acquisition finance or leveraged finance who are looking to move into a market-leading platform with strong sponsor exposure and high-quality international work.
The roles offer exposure to some of the most sophisticated infrastructure and energy transactions in the market, acting for leading infrastructure funds, private equity sponsors, institutional investors, banks and alternative lenders.
The work will typically include:
- Project finance
- Refinancings and recapitalisations
- Sponsor-side and lender-side financings
- Energy transition and renewables financings
- Digital infrastructure, including data centres and fibre
- Transport and utilities infrastructure
- Complex cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Hybrid financing structures combining elements of leveraged finance and traditional project finance
The opportunities are particularly well suited to lawyers who want to work at the intersection of infrastructure, private capital and finance, rather than within a narrowly defined traditional project finance practice.
We are interested in speaking with:
- Infrastructure Finance / Project Finance Associates
- Leveraged Finance Associates with relevant infrastructure exposure or a genuine interest in moving into the sector
- Lawyers with experience acting for sponsors, lenders or both
- Associates from leading UK, US or international firms
- Candidates from approximately 2-6 PQE, although there is flexibility depending on experience
