A market‑leading law firm is seeking an experienced Funds Paralegal to join its expanding London Investment Funds practice. This is a rare opportunity to support a strong team working across both primary and secondary fund formations, as well as broader regulatory and platform‑level mandates for major global sponsors. As a paralegal, you will have exposure to flagship clients, sophisticated fund structures, and complex cross‑border workstreams. This role is suited to a highly capable, detail‑driven individual with deep, hands‑on experience in private funds.

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of dedicated investment funds paralegal experience, gained at a top‑tier City law firm, or a well‑established private equity firm or asset manager.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting fund formations, secondary transactions, LP negotiations.
  • A strong understanding of private equity fund structures, fundraising processes, and investor onboarding documentation.
  • Candidates without direct funds experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing and managing investor onboarding documentation.
  • Supporting on fund closings, including signature management, subscription processes and document tracking.
  • Assisting with fund formation documents and side letters.
  • Assisting on complex transactions.
  • Managing data rooms, closing sets, fund updates and investor correspondence.
  • Coordinating with internal teams across London and international offices.
  • Liaising with clients, administrators and counterparties to drive transactions forward.
