Paralegal | Financial Services | London (Hybrid) Location: London, UK Job type: Full-time, Permanent Sector: Financial Services An exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join a growing financial services firm based in central London. This role offers broad exposure to legal, compliance, and HR matters within a collaborative, international environment. About the Role The successful candidate will support the in-house legal team across a range of areas, including: Drafting and maintaining corporate governance documents (UK and international jurisdictions) Advising on data protection matters, including DSARs and breach responses Assisting with employment-related legal queries and documentation Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and NDAs Supporting the preparation of client agreements and maintaining company templates Conducting legal research and monitoring regulatory developments Providing company secretarial, KYC, and general administrative support Supporting HR with contracts, inductions, and policy updates Candidate Profile Minimum of one yearβs paralegal experience in the financial services sector Exposure to corporate governance and data protection issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines Proficient in legal research tools (e.g. LexisNexis, Practical Law) Degree-educated Desirable Experience Familiarity with FCA regulations Understanding of commercial contract principles Knowledge of AML, anti-bribery, and due diligence processes Interest in corporate/commercial and data protection law Working Arrangements The company currently operates a hybrid working model, but candidates must be prepared for a potential full-time return to the office if required.
