A leading international law firm is seeking an associate to join its highly regarded Structured Finance group in London. This role offers the chance to work directly with multiple partners on a wide range of complex and high-profile transactions across the UK, Europe and the US.

The successful candidate will advise banks, arrangers, and asset managers on securitisation and structured finance mandates, including CLOs and other financing structures involving diverse asset classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be involved in advising on the full lifecycle of securitisation and structured finance transactions, including structuring, documentation, execution and closing.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating key transactional documents including prospectuses, offering circulars, trust deeds, servicing agreements and purchase agreements.
  • CLO transactions (warehouses and public deals), asset-backed lending facilities and cross-border financing matters across European and US markets.
  • EU/UK risk retention compliant structures and captive equity fund arrangements.
  • Supporting partners on complex cross-border transactions.
  • Keeping up to date with legal/regulatory developments affecting the structured finance sector.
Candidate Profile
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in securitisation and structured finance transactions.
  • Strong academic background and excellent technical legal skills.
