An established law firm is seeking an Associate to join a growing disputes practice with a focus on technology and cyber-related matters.
The successful candidate will support senior lawyers on a range of contentious and regulatory matters involving technology, data protection and cyber risk. The work is varied, requiring strong technical capability and sound commercial judgement.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting matters involving technology-related disputes, including issues arising from commercial agreements and complex projects
- Advising on aspects of cyber risk management and incident response
- Developing strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years’ UK experience
- Prior experience in technology-related disputes is required
- Interest in technology, cyber and data protection law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercially aware, with the ability to manage competing priorities
