3-month contract , with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can make an immediate impact within a busy, collaborative team.

The Opportunity

You'll be joining a well-established Banking & Finance practice that advises a broad client base including banks, financial institutions, corporate borrowers, fund managers, trustees and high-net-worth individuals.

The team regularly works on complex domestic and cross-border transactions across a wide range of financing matters.

  • Receivables financing

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Corporate Lawyer who can integrate into an existing team with minimal supervision.

You'll be expected to take ownership of ongoing matters from day one, manage existing transactions, and confidently pick up new projects as they arise.

Whilst much of the work is borrower-side, including refinancing and acquisition finance, we're seeking a well-rounded lawyer with strong experience across corporate finance matters rather than a specialist in one niche area.

You'll work across a varied portfolio of transactions, from straightforward matters to complex, high-value deals, while also providing guidance and support to junior members of the team.

This role offers significant client exposure, so you'll need to be confident managing client relationships, leading discussions, and delivering practical commercial advice throughout the lifecycle of transactions.

About You

You'll ideally have

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in corporate finance and/or banking & finance transactions.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience managing a broad range of financing matters, including refinancing and acquisition finance.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and project management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management experience.
  • The confidence to support and mentor junior lawyers where required.
