A luxury retail company is seeking to appoint a Legal Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance team. Reporting to and working closely with the General Counsel, this is a broad role encompassing general commercial matters, compliance, intellectual property, data protection, and corporate work.

This opportunity is well suited to a generalist Legal Counsel with between two and four years’ post-qualification experience.

Key Experience and Skills
  • 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience in general commercial law or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently on commercial matters and engage effectively with internal stakeholders on complex projects
  • Sound understanding of the broader legal and regulatory landscape
  • Experience in general compliance matters, with the ability to liaise directly with compliance teams (desirable)
  • Exposure to intellectual property matters, including contracts and disputes (desirable)
  • Capacity to work closely with the General Counsel across a range of legal issues as they arise
  • Flexibility to support complex, ad hoc project work across both commercial and corporate matters
