SSQ is recruiting a Competition Litigation Associate on behalf of a leading UK law firm with a premier disputes practice in London. The role centers on complex, high-profile, and cross-border contentious competition matters within a growing and collaborative team.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Circa 3-5 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) or equivalent relevant experience in competition litigation.
• Strong technical background in competition law and litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver practical, commercial legal advice.
• Strong commercial awareness and client management capabilities.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Handle standalone and follow-on competition damages claims, as well as collective proceedings.
• Manage matters before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the High Court.
• Handle both claimant and defendant-side competition litigation across domestic and international disputes.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and mentor junior team members, with exposure to broader commercial and banking disputes.
