Our vision for people analytics at SSP is that everyone who makes a decision should have access to data and insight to help make that decision. In addition, the People Reporting Specialist has a crucial responsibility in ensuring that SSP’s HR teams are able to access the data that they need to keep the business running.
As part of the People Analytics team, this role will work with our global HR team in our Camden office, and remotely with our regional HR teams across the world to develop high-quality reports and analytics solutions using SuccessFactors, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools.
The role will also be responsible for supporting the use of the Gallup Access survey platform as part of our employee listening strategy, with full training and support provided to do this.
What you’ll be doing:
We’re looking for someone who excels at using their technical and data skills to find the best solution to practical business problems while delivering great customer service to a set of global stakeholders at a range of seniorities.
- Transform data into visually clear, concise, and relevant insights using SuccessFactors story reports, Excel, Power BI, or other relevant tools.
- Support the business with SuccessFactors reporting:
- Build and maintain a library of SuccessFactors reports covering the employee central, learning, compensation, and performance modules, with more to come in the future.
- Be the subject matter expert for SuccessFactors reporting, supporting regional HR teams with their reporting requirements and being the first point of contact for any reporting enquiries.
- Implement a governance framework for SuccessFactors reports to ensure that reports are documented, duplication is minimised, and that best practices are followed by all reporting users.
- Provide customer service to survey respondents while surveys are live.
- Assist internal teams with interpretation of survey results and ad-hoc analysis of survey data.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A passion for people analytics and the impact it can have on business performance.
- Clarity of verbal and written communication to convey relevant insights and simplify complex data for stakeholders at a range of levels.
- Ability to interpret data, and independently draw out the key messages and conclusions:
- Advanced use of Excel.
- Understanding of data processing and reporting governance best practices.
- 3+ years of experience working with SuccessFactors reporting systems covering employee central, learning, compensation, and performance modules:
- Able to use SuccessFactors canvas, stories, and other reporting tools as appropriate to create high-quality data extracts and visual reports.
- Proficiency with creating calculated columns, measures, and aggregations within SuccessFactors reports.
- Understanding of how role-based permissions function within SuccessFactors.
