About The Role
The Marketing Operations Team Coordinator – Data Team coordinates marketing and data‑related requests between Commercial, Data Teams and Operational teams, translating business requirements into clear actions for technical teams.
The role manages Data Team workflow in line with agreed SLAs and prioritises requests according to business needs.
It also ensures accurate and timely maintenance of pricing, promotions, item details and recipes across key SSP systems, including POS, Kiosk and OAT, while supporting till testing, new unit openings and Commercial requests to ensure readiness before go‑live.
Through strong data integrity, accessibility and alignment across the teams, the role helps improve operational efficiency and business value.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and prioritise marketing and data‑related requests across SSP own and franchise brands, ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with agreed SLAs, for example price changes, promotion updates and new item requests.
- Collect, validate and translate data from Marketing, Commercial, NPD, Trade and Operational teams into clear formats for Data Teams, such as item setup, recipe data and campaign templates.
- Coordinate system setup, till configuration, testing and go‑live support for campaigns, new units and operational changes, including till checks, menu visibility and launch readiness.
- Investigate and resolve data, system and unit‑related issues in collaboration with Service Desk, Operations, Commercial, NPD, Data Teams and 3rd parties, for example pricing errors, missing items or promotion issues.
- Administer relevant platforms to support workflow tracking, campaign setup and colleague discount activity, including service management platform, workflow system and loyalty and promotion platform where required.
- Own, review and continuously improve data request forms and templates to ensure sufficient and accurate information is collected from the business as requirements, processes and systems change.
- Support process consistency and knowledge sharing by providing guidance and training to Brand Managers, Executives and wider stakeholders, such as request templates, data submission requirements and system processes.
- To Be Successful In This Role
- Ability to prioritise business requests in line with SLAs and Data Team capacity.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when maintaining pricing, promotions, item details, recipe data and other business‑critical information.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests, follow up actions and keep stakeholders informed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to work confidently with data, templates, trackers and reporting information.
- Able to support process consistency, knowledge sharing and user guidance by explaining data submission requirements, templates and system processes clearly.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and solution‑focused, with a calm and positive approach when managing competing deadlines, operational issues and business change.
