Seasonal Vacancy for Kitchen Team Member at The Dickens Inn, St Katharine's Dock

Pay Rate: £12.41 per hour

Shift Pattern: Full Time/Part time, hours between 8am and 23:30pm, working flexibly over weekdays, weekends, Bank & public holidays. Please note this is a seasonal vacancy for 1st May 2025 till end of September 2025, with possibility for extension.

Due to some responsibilities within the Kitchen Assistant role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

AS A KITCHEN ASSISTANT YOU'LL BE:

  • Helping with deliveries.
  • Preparing meats and vegetables.
  • Assisting chefs.
  • Assisting in stock rotation.
  • Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
  • Effective time management for preparation and food service.
  • Precise measurement of dish ingredients and portion sizes.
  • Executing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
