Commis Chef at Bridge & Castle Bar EDI, Edinburgh Airport
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour (+ an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6am, bringing your rate of pay to £13.95 per hour.)
Shift Pattern: Full time/Part Time, scheduled between 4am to 9:30pm including weekends.
Successful candidates will be required to provide references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check in line with Airport Security Regulations. Due to some responsibilities within the Commis Chef role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and will be required to handle and serve alcohol.

AS A COMMIS CHEF, YOU'LL:
- Help with deliveries.
- Prepare meats and vegetables.
- Assist fellow chefs.
- Assist in stock rotation.
- Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
- Demonstrate effective time management for preparation and food service.
- Understand precise measurements of dish ingredients and portion sizes.
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
- Confidently cook completed dishes from the menu.
