SSP Canada operates several restaurants throughout the Montreal International Airport. We are looking for a friendly and energetic Host/Hostess to join our team! As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience by providing a warm welcoming face. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love meeting new people, and enjoy creating memorable moments for guests, we’d love to have you on board!

Here are some things you can expect as a Host/Hostess:

1. Greet all guests in a courteous and professional manner and escort them to their table.
2. Manage the seating chart and coordinate table assignments for a smooth service flow.
3. Assist guests with children and special needs, as required.
4. Present menus, answer questions, and offer suggestions regarding food and service.
5. Inform servers and management of special needs and/or potential guest issues.
6. Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course.
7. Ensure complete guest satisfaction.
8. Thank guests as they leave and ensure they had a great experience.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Other Requirements

1. At least 6 months\’ experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or food service environment.
2. High school diploma preferred.
3. Fluent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
4. Experience in resolving customer service issues.
5. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
6. Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, and handle cash drops.
7. Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items effectively.
8. Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
9. Ability to stand for long periods.
