As the Global Mobility Manager/Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the various global mobility arrangements we have across the business. You will provide specialist knowledge to the People Directors and the wider business as well as be the main point of contact for our assignees and external providers. This role sits within our Reward Team and closely collaborates with our International People team, Tax, Legal, and Finance departments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with respect to international assignments, inpatriate/expatriate matters, and frequent travellers
- Provide advice to the Reward team, Talent team and People Directors across the globe regarding individual moves or the development of relocation programs
- Ensure the SSP Global Mobility framework (policy) is periodically reviewed and updated
- Produce cost projections and calculate assignment compensation
- Interpret and implement service partner advice to SSP’s operating environment, adapting to business parameters and requirements
- Communicating relocation packages, answering questions and resolving escalated issues
- Provide continuing advice and support to both client and assignees, maintaining regular contact
- Carry out (or arrange with the correct provider) any required pre-assignment briefing and orientation
- Maintaining the global assignees list and preparing monthly and ad-hoc reports
- Develop creative solutions to a variety of diverse and complex problems
- Primary point of contact for our mobility related external providers
