The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with the finance manager to produce the monthly management accounts, providing insights into variances to plan, trends and future risks/opportunities.
  • Work closely with the shared service finance team on understanding and tracking spend on other operating expenses.
  • Assist in the production of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasting by liaising with key stakeholders to forecast passenger numbers and delivering weekly sales, Gross Profit and labour costs in line with the UK and group strategy profitability plans.
  • Work closely with the operations team to fully understand the profitability of their part of the business and advise on and quantify future risks and opportunities.
  • Support the Business Development Finance Manager in evaluating capital expenditure and appraising new business opportunities as well as providing analysis for post-investment reviews.
  • Create effective Excel models that help improve efficiency and accuracy within the finance team.
  • Complete any ad-hoc analysis required by the senior leadership team to assist in effective decision making.
  • Manage submissions to the group finance consolidation and reporting system (ALEA).

  • Excellent Excel modelling skills.
  • Adept at analysing and manipulating large volumes of data with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Commercially minded individual who can see the bigger picture and have the confidence to talk through analysis and pull out key themes/insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work consultatively but also challenge stakeholders in a constructive manner.
  • Determination and drive to succeed, someone who can work well under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills, meticulous and highly productive individual.
  • High focus on quality/strong completer finisher skills.
  • Enjoys and thrives in a fast-paced highly commercial business environment.
  • Retail/FMCG Industry Experience.
