What you'll be doing:
- Work with the finance manager to produce the monthly management accounts, providing insights into variances to plan, trends and future risks/opportunities.
- Work closely with the shared service finance team on understanding and tracking spend on other operating expenses.
- Assist in the production of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasting by liaising with key stakeholders to forecast passenger numbers and delivering weekly sales, Gross Profit and labour costs in line with the UK and group strategy profitability plans.
- Work closely with the operations team to fully understand the profitability of their part of the business and advise on and quantify future risks and opportunities.
- Support the Business Development Finance Manager in evaluating capital expenditure and appraising new business opportunities as well as providing analysis for post-investment reviews.
- Create effective Excel models that help improve efficiency and accuracy within the finance team.
- Complete any ad-hoc analysis required by the senior leadership team to assist in effective decision making.
- Manage submissions to the group finance consolidation and reporting system (ALEA).

- Adept at analysing and manipulating large volumes of data with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Commercially minded individual who can see the bigger picture and have the confidence to talk through analysis and pull out key themes/insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work consultatively but also challenge stakeholders in a constructive manner.
