We have an immediate opening for an Account Manager in our London office . This role is suitable for someone with about 6 years of experience seeking a new challenge. You should be interested in working across multiple industries—leading consumer, entertainment, event, or social good campaigns. If you have energy, great contacts, and are eager to explore new opportunities, this is your chance. We value generalists with an entrepreneurial spirit who can speak on anything.
Account Managers typically handle small to medium-sized accounts as the primary client contact, with occasional oversight on larger accounts. They are proficient in integrated communications, capable of managing projects from start to finish, and exceeding client expectations while ensuring both client and internal team satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading account teams and managing projects from inception to completion.
- Developing and executing comprehensive communications strategies.
- Conducting research and flagging relevant news updates.
- Creating, editing, and proofreading materials like press releases, blogs, pitches, fact sheets, FAQs, briefing notes, and client correspondence.
- Planning and executing media events, including influencer events and press conferences.
- Partnering with senior managers to meet client deliverables for an average of 4–6 clients.
- Building impactful, trusting relationships with clients.
- Managing media contact lists and developing new media relationships.
- Participating in new business meetings and creating proposals.
- Identifying new opportunities for clients, such as media meetings and introductions.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Working with senior management to respond efficiently to client requests.
You Should Apply If:
- You have 5–6 years of experience in securing impactful press placements, developing media plans, and mentoring staff.
- You have managed a client team for at least 1 year.
- You understand integrated communications across media relations, social media, creative, and brand/talent integration.
- You are a strong, persuasive, and concise writer.
- You possess a growing media network across various verticals.
- You are strategic, innovative, and enjoy brainstorming.
- You demonstrate strong decision-making, accountability, and judgment.
- You have curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit—suggestions for improvement are encouraged.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
- You are willing to work some evenings/weekends and travel as needed.
- You take pride in exceeding expectations and contributing positively.
