IWS Water Hygiene is looking for an enthusiastic team player who thrives on new challenges, is well-organized, and can work to tight deadlines to join our bid team. We invite applications for the role of Tender/Bid Writer, responsible for producing high-quality responses to tender questions, meeting evaluation criteria, and helping improve the company's success rate across all UK regions. The role involves daily contact with nationwide offices, collecting and analyzing commercial and contract information to craft technical responses. As part of the Bid Team, you will be involved in every stage of the bid process, from opportunity identification to submission, with objectives aligned to tender deadlines. You should be able to gather information quickly and think creatively to achieve results.
About the successful applicant:
The ideal candidate will have a flair for creative writing, project management experience, and the ability to extract information from subject matter experts to produce concise, high-quality bids. A qualification in a scientific or sales/marketing discipline is beneficial, but excellent English skills and attention to detail are essential.
