About the company

We are the Mechanical and Electrical section of Integrated Water Services. Better known as IWS M&E. and part of South Staffordshire Plc. IWS M&E provides pump diagnostics and refurbishment, project management, telemetry, chemical dosing and control, instrumentation installation and maintenance, environmental management, plant and infrastructure maintenance and emergency response. These services and cost efficient solutions for water, wastewater and environmental problems are provided 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year anywhere in the UK. IWS M&E is a successful, growing company that is looking for talented employees who want to work in an environment that is challenging and rewarding.

About the job

Based at Integrated Water Services offices/depot in Altham reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of electrical engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of all projects on time and within agreed budgets. You will be expected to take responsibility for efficient planning and utilisation of the resource available, maintenance of high standards of quality, health and safety, and liaison with clients as required. The role will require flexible working hours and business travel.

About the successful applicant

To succeed, you will ideally be qualified to at least BS th Edition Electrical Regulations, BS7671 Inspection, test and verification and Electrical Installation 2360 Parts 1&2 or an NVQ Level 3 equivalent. You will also ideally have completed an electrical engineering apprenticeship. The successful candidate will need previous supervisory experience, including planning and organisation of resources and budget control. A driving licence is required for this role and experience in the use of Microsoft Office programmes is also essential. This challenging and varied role offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity for career development within an expanding and successful business. Previous experience within the water industry would be an advantage for this role.
