Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office – Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness.

Salary: £34,749 - £40,939 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

The role: As Technical Project Coordinator you will be the central point of organisation across meetings, reporting, suppliers and key project systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly, deadlines are met and information is captured to a high standard. It’s a busy and varied position that offers real exposure to our projects, our people and the way we work.

  • Manage the project accounts, raise purchase orders, make sure suppliers are paid on time and handle external supplier queries.
  • Coordinate and prepare all engineering meetings, making sure these are scheduled, attended and minutes are recorded accurately.
  • Manage the road works system (Symology) and liaising with contractors and Project Managers to ensure the system is managed correctly and updated within the required deadlines.
  • Conduct utility searches to identify services around our project locations to support the project team.
  • Support the Lead Engineers and Engineering Managers to meet milestones and deadlines, including coordinating reporting and internal team guidance - making sure reports are produced on time and to a high standard.

You have:

  • Excellent administration and organisational skills, with confidence working in a fast paced environment and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Previous project experience is beneficial.
  • Strong written skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage a busy workload to tight timescales.
  • Proven capability in engaging multiple stakeholders at once, often with competing priorities.
  • The role includes managing project finances, so experience in this area is advantageous.
