Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time
The role involves:
- Supporting the operation, maintenance and capital delivery activities on our Transmission network.
- Planning, delivering and reporting all maintenance activities on our assets.
- Supporting project delivery from concept to completion.
- Assisting the Maintenance Manager in planning, scheduling, delivery and reporting of inspection, repair and maintenance activities across our network.
- Organising resources, plant and materials on behalf of the maintenance team.
- Responding to faults and emergency repair works as necessary.
- Supporting SSEN Transmission’s safety culture and proactively improving safety.
- Assisting in the development of policies and procedures for working on our network.
- Providing essential support to major projects including new build or refurbishment Substations, cables and overhead lines.
You have:
- Experience as a Senior Authorised Person, or willingness to work towards SAP authorisation up to and including 400kV.
- A strong safety culture with an understanding of CDM regulations and awareness of operational safety.
- Strong administrative, written and verbal communication skills and data management skills, including the use of PowerPoint, Excel and Word; experience with PowerBI would be advantageous.
- A full current driving licence due to the requirement to travel to and be on site.
