The predicted salary is between 54952 - 72592 £ per year.

Base Location: Tayside or Argyll and Bute

Salary: £54,952 - £72,592 + overtime + standby + car / car allowance + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

The role involves:

  • Supporting the operation, maintenance and capital delivery activities on our Transmission network.
  • Planning, delivering and reporting all maintenance activities on our assets.
  • Supporting project delivery from concept to completion.
  • Assisting the Maintenance Manager in planning, scheduling, delivery and reporting of inspection, repair and maintenance activities across our network.
  • Organising resources, plant and materials on behalf of the maintenance team.
  • Responding to faults and emergency repair works as necessary.
  • Supporting SSEN Transmission’s safety culture and proactively improving safety.
  • Assisting in the development of policies and procedures for working on our network.
  • Providing essential support to major projects including new build or refurbishment Substations, cables and overhead lines.

You have:

  • Experience as a Senior Authorised Person, or willingness to work towards SAP authorisation up to and including 400kV.
  • A strong safety culture with an understanding of CDM regulations and awareness of operational safety.
  • Strong administrative, written and verbal communication skills and data management skills, including the use of PowerPoint, Excel and Word; experience with PowerBI would be advantageous.
  • A full current driving licence due to the requirement to travel to and be on site.
