Base Location: Flexible Scotland. We are proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. Your base 'home' location must be one of our SSEN offices around Scotland: Aberdeen, Inverness, Elgin, Perth or Dundee.
Salary: £38,966 - £45,905 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

The role:
- Manage the data lifecycle for site operations by ensuring all maintenance activities and subsequent repairs are precisely logged in our reporting tools upon completion.
- Monitor and maintain KPIs for all maintenance activities, ensuring accurate reporting of IIG and Oil volumes.
- Oversee the recording and resolution of Electricity Safety, Quality & Continuity Regulations (ESQCR) defects, guaranteeing that all mitigation and repairs are fully documented for regulatory compliance.
- Perform rigorous data assurance and accuracy checks within Maximo and other digital platforms.
- Support engineering teams by managing data for new and decommissioned equipment, ensuring all records meet statutory and internal reporting standards.
- Coordinate and schedule external training across our operational network, liaising with specialist providers to deliver tailored learning solutions while balancing complex maintenance cycles and staffing requirements.
- Maintain a standardized, version-controlled library of technical manuals and drawings, ensuring all documentation is accurate, accessible for site teams, and updated via a proactive work-order process.
You have:
- Minimum SVQ Level 3 in engineering discipline, HNC preferred.
- Experience in a similar role within the power systems industry will be considered.
- Operational Authorisation Cat 1, 2 & 3 or demonstrable awareness and understanding of main power systems components and a working knowledge of all technical functions within power systems operations.
- Excellent understanding and use of Maximo and other internal systems, such as SYPOL, Vault, Electric Office, ESRI ArcGIS, Autodesk Vault, Viewpoint.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
