The role
SSEN Transmission has a fantastic opportunity for a Project Controls Coordinator to join our Transmission Project Services Team. This role will coordinate the project to board level reporting for Onshore Capital Delivery as well as acting as a point of contact for all Project Controls related issues and guidance. This is a great chance to play a key part in our journey to NetZero.
You will:
- Produce and maintain monthly reporting packs for Director Programme reviews including development of key KPIs across the Programme portfolio.
- Ensure consistency across all projects and adherence to the Transmission Change request procedure, including maintenance of all change registers.
- Chair monthly Opportunity reviews across all disciplines, mapping the values to financial models; with clear actions, dates and cost benefits detailed.
- Act as the point of contact within Project Services for feedback to the Project Teams – ensuring that engagement and support from Project Services is maintained through regular site visits.
You have:
- Strong project governance experience, ideally on complex large infrastructure programmes in a regulatory environment.
- The ability to engage and develop relationships across multi-discipline teams and internal/external stakeholders with clear communication and SME guidance in process and procedure.
- Experience of managing and implementing performance improvements using data driven decisions.
- Demonstrable experience in cost savings/innovation and delivering value add across B.A.U processes.
- An understanding of large capital project management with experience of collating, analysing and interrogating data.
