The role
- Due to ever‑increasing workload, the Offshore Delivery Directorate within SSEN Transmission has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our expanding team and play a pivotal role in our project teams.
- You will manage the project accounts, raising purchase orders, making sure suppliers are paid on time and dealing with external supplier queries.
- Coordinate and prepare project related meetings, ensuring these are scheduled, attended and minutes are recorded to a high quality.
- Support the project team to meet Project Governance milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinate all project reporting and presentation packs – ensuring these are produced on time and to a high‑quality standard.
- Assist with any additional project specific administration duties.
You have
- Excellent administration and organisational skills; this role is busy and offers opportunity to learn about our business and interact with a wide range of stakeholders and project teams.
- A keen eye for detail, prioritise workload, and handle demanding deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven problem‑solving ability and efficient, collaborative work style, with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in managing project finances will be beneficial.
- Sound understanding and experience of working with multiple software packages and systems.
Travel and Travel requirements
The role will involve travelling to different sites/offices with occasional nights away. A driving licence is essential.
