SSE’s SSEN Transmission is hiring a Principal Substation Engineer based in Scotland to join the Technical Engineering team in Project Engineering. The role focuses on standardisation, design improvements and innovation adoption to help deliver a network for Net Zero.
You will lead design aspects for HV 132kV-400kV switchgear, busbar and LV systems, develop substation standardisation, train junior engineers and support recruitment while aligning projects with TA approvals and UK regulatory.
