Working Pattern : Permanent | Full Time | Onsite We are looking for aSubstation Construction Site Supervisor to join our team in the South of England. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our in-house construction team. Your responsibilities will include delivering capital projects and replacing Electrical Assets ranging from 11kV to 132kV in substations across the south. Join us in this exciting opportunity to contribute to essential projects in the energy sector. Other roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: – Co-ordinate our work programme to ensure adequate resources are available and prepare Construction Phase Plans for our sites as per the CDM requirements. – Supervise site works, set staff to workand act as the main site contact. – Review contractor and sub-contractor RAMS as necessary. – Ensure our staff, contractors and sub-contractors are fully inducted on site, carry out toolbox talks, and receive safety documents as necessary. – Order minor materials for projects as and when required, including tracking orders and invoices and processing quotations from numerous suppliers, whilst ensuring our sites have adequate welfare provisions available and plan and order welfare as required. What do I need? Experience working in operational electricity substation environments from 11kV – 132kV and a good working knowledge of the Construction andDesign Management (CDM) Regulations especiallyinrepresenting the Principal Contractor. To be considered for this role, we would love you to have: – Formal qualifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS, first aid at work, EUSR. – Experience of supervising a working party in a live electricity substation environment. – Knowledge and experience in CDM andCOSHH Regulations. – Formal qualification in electrical engineering. – Experience in co-ordinating site teams and proactively supervising site works to ensure excellent standards in Health, Safety and Quality.
