About the Role Base Location: Perth or Aberdeen. Salary: £40,600 – £61,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family. Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available The duties and responsibilities of the Customer/Client Relationship/Account Manager include: – Manage a portfolio of high value customer business accounts by understanding customer project status and progress and reporting this into the relevant business areas and work closely with functions across SSEN Transmission, using subject matter experts where appropriate. – Pro-actively plan, implement, and report on effective engagement with the customer. – Account Management: Manage strong relationships with Generation Customers (potential/existing) connecting to the SSEN Transmission network. – You will be daily point of contact for both the client and SSEN Transmission project teams, to support successful relationships. – Contract and portfolio management, ensuring milestones are being met in line with each project progression. Please note at SSEN Transmission our customers are Distribution Network Operators, Generators & Large Demand Customers. This is not a sales or contact centre role. What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have: – Business to Business Account Management experience is critical for this role, along with commercial and industry awareness. – Experience of chairing meetings and skilled in taking comprehensive minutes. Must be comfortable with corporate IT systems and proficient skill at using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. – Excellent time management to handle workload with varying levels of priority whilst maintaining up to date records against portfolio with an appreciation for document control. – Exceptional class interpersonal skills (external and internal audiences) to initiate leads, build, improve and maintain external contacts; and establish strong working relationships to enable the job holder to seek cooperation from, influence or motivate others to help resolve problems. – Ability to develop and manage healthy relationships in challenging project circumstances whilst negotiating and influencing internal and external organisations and individuals.
