About The Role
Base Location: Reading/Cardiff/Perth. This is a hybrid role which requires a minimum of two days per week to be completed within the advertised location.
Salary: £34,479 – £40,939 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the Role?
As an TPI Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for acting as a conduit between SSE’s Commercial Third-Party Intermediaries & Energy Brokers and our Customer Contact Teams. You will oversee a defined portfolio of intermediaries, providing a point of escalation for any urgent queries or concerns raised by their associated SME customers, including those unresolved within our standard operational Business SLAs. You will be required within the role to utilise your problem‑solving skills to identify the actions needed to resolve the Broker’s concerns, mobilise the necessary stakeholders required for resolution & ensure the actions are delivered inline with SSE’s standard operating practises.
Working closely with our Sales and Service teams, you will cultivate excellent relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, allowing you to proactively assess the service needs of your individual clients, to determine opportunities to continue to deliver exceptional Customer Service.
As part of your role, you will:
- Own the service relationship with your assigned brokers, acting as an ambassador for SSE, proactively ensuring that we are offering a high level of Customer Service
- Cultivate strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders linked to your portfolio
- Organise & attendance regular meetings with your defined TPI / Energy Brokers to ensure customer satisfaction levels are within expected levels
- Support the Sales team throughout the tendering process to ensure individual customer needs are achievable
- Collaborate with Internal service teams within Business Energy to seek resolution for concerns impacting your portfolio
- Proactively manage your broker portfolio ensuring all commitments are kept, whilst also identifying future opportunities to improve service, efficiency and direct customer experience.
- Provide feedback and insight to the Service leadership teams to support enhancements to customer experience
