The role is based in Aldbrough with a salary range of £42,600 - £64,000 plus a performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Flexible First options available.

You will:

  • Monitor and assess plant performance to identify deviations from the normal operating parameters in terms of process capability, availability, gas quality, and direct costs.
  • Identify corrective actions required to restore site operation to the accepted norm and work alongside the Shift Engineers and Technicians to implement them.
  • Develop and maintain Operating Instructions and Procedures and provide training to shift personnel to ensure that the plant is operated correctly by all process staff.
  • Carry out Root Cause Analysis investigations as required to identify causes of failures to meet nominations, process problems, and equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and drive improvement.

You have:

  • Technical knowledge of processes for high pressure gas injection, storage, and withdrawal.
  • Knowledge of IT programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A degree in Engineering (Chemical or Process).
  • The ability to prioritise work and continually seek better ways of working.
