Base Location: Dublin, Reading, Havant, Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen and Inverness

Salary: €76,100 - €114,100/ £58,100 - £87,100 + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The Role

SSE is growing! We have a vacancy for an IT Technical Product Owner for the ECS CCAAS and Artificial Intelligence Platform team.

You Will

As an experienced Technical Product Owner, you\'ll join SSE IT to lead the product ownership of our AI customer facing platform to drive SSE\'s large scale transformation

  • Define the vision and strategy of the platform in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Support business leaders and stakeholders in preparation for implementation and change management in product rollout and enhancements
  • Ensure the IT/ business strategy, policy and standards are adhered to, achieving commonality and ease of maintenance
  • Actively partake in SCRUM ceremonies and be the single point of communication between the team and the business, providing direction to the team and stakeholders.

  • Proven experience working as a Product Owner within IT/technical role in a mature agile team, focusing on Artificial Intelligence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to develop technical product requirements/ user stories based on input gathered from a variety of sources
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with an understanding and working experience of agile processes and principals
  • Previous experience in scaling knowledge, as well as a willingness to promote the Agile delivery framework
