Base Location: Keadby Power station, Scunthorpe

Salary: SS04 £36,139 - £43,188 depending on skills and experience + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: 12 month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment | Full Time

The role

Reporting to the Process Support Manager, the Stores Technician will manage the day-to-day operation of the station stores, ensuring all reasonable stores requirements are met. Some of your main accountabilities will include:

  • Processing Goods Inwards, raising requisitions to re-order stock items, creating stock items, and carrying out stock checks.
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards and managing internal customer service levels.
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory levels and carry out stock checks with appropriate reconciliation.
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure continual drive to reduce redundant stock.
  • Receiving delivery of all items, including bulk chemicals and ensuring the appropriate staff are made aware of the delivery.

To be successful in this role, we would like you to have:

  • Proficiency in the use of Maximo or Harmony software.
  • The ability to identify key industrial components and materials.
  • Experience of plant and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, along with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to improve ways of working.
  • A Fork Lift Driving licence.
