The role
As Control and Instrumentation Engineer, you’ll be part of an inclusive and high performing team, encompassing multiple disciplines and departments, with an emphasis on maximising efficiencies to achieve optimum plant performance. You will:
- Asset Management, technical governance & guidance for your plant area.
- Delivery of compliance with legislation and industry best practice.
- Safe Management of Projects.
- Delivery of major outages.
- Budget & Contract Management.
You have
- A Controls or Process Engineering background within a similar industry.
- A broad and in‑depth operational knowledge and experience of Control and Instrumentation equipment such as: Process measurement instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, PH etc.), pneumatic control valves and equipment, CompEx and SIL systems, PLCs, distributed control (DCS) and industrial network communications.
- Knowledge of maintenance and engineering practices on industrial plant.
- A broad understanding of Health and Safety; a certificate in IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageous.
Innovative thinking and good communication skills will also be essential, and most importantly you'll have a passion for safety and successful delivery against key stakeholder requirements.
