Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Havant and Reading
Salary: £50,100 – £75,100 + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
You would be joining the End User Services team, responsible for content management team , the product vision, the roadmap, and operation of Content Management within Digital Workplace, you will require an in-depth knowledge of M365. You will be working with senior business stakeholders and our external Partners to provide the Services that meet customer needs.
You Will
- Define and own the strategic roadmap for Digital Workplace – Content Management. Shape and deliver the Microsoft 365 content strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and Microsoft’s evolving roadmap.
- Implement and maintain governance controls; Manage governance policies to ensure secure, compliant, and consistent use of SharePoint, OneDrive, and Purview.
- Partner with our data stakeholders; Engage Business Data Owners and IT teams to support federated content management aligned with governance and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and analyse usage data; Use our reporting tools to identify adoption trends, risks, and optimisation opportunities, driving continuous improvement and governance enhancements.
- Oversee structured content migrations; Lead content migrations from legacy systems to Microsoft 365, improving usability, compliance, and collaboration across the organisation.
You Have
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Senior Administrator for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, or other enterprise collaboration platforms.
- Skilled in communicating product roadmaps, prioritising features based on business value and user impact. Ability to work with end users, architects and technical teams to evolve the Digital Platform to meet SSE\’s requirements.
- Understanding of GDPR, data protection, and compliance requirements in a regulated enterprise context.
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 platform and related products, including Microsoft Syntex, SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM), and Copilot for SharePoint. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 governance, including Purview, retention policies, sensitivity labels, and site provisioning models.
- Experience working in an \”evergreen\” environment and the associated challenges of adapting to constant change and the impact on the business.
