Role Overview
This is a meaningful opportunity for a Procurement and Commercial (P&C) Manager to shape and strengthen commercial performance across a major portfolio of transmission projects. With a significant £20Bn investment programme spanning onshore and offshore developments, you will play a key role in guiding projects through pricing and assessment with clarity, integrity, and collaboration. Working within a supportive and forward-thinking team, you’ll help create consistent, transparent approaches while influencing strategy and building trusted partnerships across the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of pricing policy, fostering clarity and consistency
- Partner closely with contractors and internal teams to support transparent, open-book pricing approaches
- Offer thoughtful guidance to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory expectations
- Support assurance and governance activities, helping projects stay aligned and well-managed
- Build strong, collaborative relationships and share insights through meaningful performance reporting
Qualifications
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related business discipline
- Experience in a senior commercial role, including leading teams and shaping strategy
- Strong understanding of construction pricing and tender evaluation processes
- Familiarity with contract conditions such as NEC, FIDIC, or LOGIC
- A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, and experience delivering large-scale projects
