Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office – Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness.

Salary: £38,966- £45,905 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role:

The Operations Performance Analyst will provide internal and external forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting to ensure we remain focused on efficiencies, trends, and accuracy throughout the RIIOT3 period. This role sits within a team that is critical to ongoing Operations performance management, supporting delivery against our business objectives and helping drive informed, data led decision making.

  • Support financial monitoring and reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for internal and external requirements.
  • Support regular cleansing of data to be submitted for regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Improve the data quality, quantity, regularity and insight that is collected and generated, establishing effective and innovative ways to present and communicate insights for colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Support the teams in making the recommended changes, helping to resolve any issues whilst working alongside them.
  • Assist the operations management team in reviewing and establishing policies, processes, and procedures.

You have:

  • Deep business knowledge of Transmission (ideally within an energy industry).
  • Power Bi experience.
  • Excellent analysis and knowledge transfer skills to a proven professional level.
  • Good working knowledge of Financials and Budgeting.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarising performance analysis findings and recommendations to present these conclusions to key stakeholders, including directors and heads of departments.
