The role
We're looking for an HR Manager to SSE plc, supporting the HR Business Partner; you'll have the opportunity to work alongside senior leaders to help align people priorities with business goals, contributing to growth, transformation, and safe, sustainable performance across the UK.
You will:
- Support the delivery of inâyear people plans, in partnership with corporate HR partners including Learning & Talent, Recruitment and Reward.
- Help shape the longâterm, strategic people plans aligned to growth ambitions.
- Contribute to Organisation Design and Strategic Workforce Planning activities with your client groups to ensure that we are optimising performance.
- Play a key role in Talent and Succession planning activities within your Directorates ensuring robust talent pipelines in place for all critical and leadership roles.
- Provide business leaders with guidance, support, and advice on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including resourcing, reward, engagement, organisational design, change management, and learning and development.
- Partner with senior leadership teams to create the conditions for business to deliver their best performance and build a culture, focusing on inclusion and collaboration.
You have:
- A strong HR generalist background with a commercial mindset, and a thoughtful, proactive approach to challenges and change.
- Experience contributing to longerâterm planning aligned to business goals.
- Sound judgement, a strong sense of integrity, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Clear communication skills and a natural ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
- Good organisation and prioritisation skills, with the flexibility to support a range of stakeholders and deliverables.
