Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations: Perth, Glasgow, Aberdeen.

The main purpose of the role is to create business readiness and drive user adoption across multiple projects that form part of one of our Digital Programmes (Run, Grow and Transform). Using our Digital Business Change Framework and in line with our project and programme planning cycles, ensure successful implementation of transformation projects. Ensure appropriate elements of the Business Change approach and principles are consistently applied and add value to business leaders and impacted users.
You will:
- Create a structured, systematic change experience to guide individuals and teams through the change that will impact them.
- Be responsible for the oversight and leadership of Change Analysts / Vendor Change resources that are accountable for planning and managing business change activities on either all elements of a single project or specific elements of multiple projects.
- Represent Digital Business Change at appropriate value chain governance forums, complying with status reporting as agreed, to ensure two-way communication and update on deliverables.
- Challenge the Delivery Leads and project management team on business change needs, relevant outputs and desired outcomes.
- Raise user adoption risks and issues to the project management team and key business representatives, including those with wider programme or business impacts.
- Oversee the development and creation of communication and engagement approaches and plans that build engagement and commitment of impacted users/colleagues, including choosing the appropriate tools and channels.
- Coach the Change Analysts aligned with projects on the design, development and delivery of quality, accurate and timely communication and engagement materials and activities.
- Oversee the design and delivery of a quality, fit-for-purpose and best practice integrated training solution for each project/programme, working in partnership with Group L&T.
- Manage the effective and sustainable handover to BAU through collaboration with Group L&T and business stakeholders.
You have:
- Previous experience of working across most or all Business Change disciplines on large scale transformational projects and programmes; across a range of businesses and sectors desirable with a formal change management certification or training being desirable.
- Exceptional customer focus, ensuring that business benefits and user capability are always at the forefront of activity paired with strong networking skills, building stakeholder engagement and influencing at senior level.
- Able to demonstrate subject matter expertise with a strong understanding of business change best practices and experience of managing transformation project lifecycles.
- Able to demonstrate project management and lifecycles expertise, including knowledge of phase, gate and release phases and the associated change management deliverables / metrics.
- Knowledge of change management techniques, models and theories, and experience of their practical application in business contexts; LEAN management awareness/skills desirable.
