What is the Role?
As a Business Portfolio Change Manager you will join an existing change management team within Business Energy to support the delivery of the industry programme Market Wide Half hourly settlements (MHHS). Work across the programme with other change managers, supporting various aspects of the change plan including customer communication, employee communication and engagement, process mapping, migration readiness and more. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure correct change activities are delivered and embedded into operational teams, facilitating smooth adoption of new processes for both customers and teams. Implement and apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy that supports change adoption. Conduct business change impact assessments, assess readiness, identify key stakeholders and keep all process documentation up‑to‑date. Work closely with business SMEs and IT delivery roles in a cross‑functional setup. Ensure that all change activities align with and enable the delivery of benefits and key performance indicators.
What do I need?
- Great communication and engagement skills, with the ability to understand and translate complex market and business processes into deliverable activities against an evolving roadmap.
- Demonstrative experience as a Business Change professional within a medium to large‑scale organisation.
- Confidence in using change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Experience of digital enablement and data‑driven change—including how AI can accelerate adoption.
- Capability to work at pace in an Agile environment, as well as within a Waterfall project.
