The role
Are you passionate about driving operational excellence, strengthening compliance, and making a real business impact?
We're looking for an Operations, Compliance and Data Protection Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring our business operates efficiently, compliantly, and with customers at the heart of everything we do. Combining analytical insight, governance expertise, and stakeholder collaboration, you'll lead assurance activities, champion data protection, and identify opportunities to continuously improve performance across the organisation.
You will
- Lead Operational Assurance Activities-Conduct audits, dip tests, quality checks, and compliance reviews to identify risks, monitor performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce Business Reporting and Analysis-Develop and maintain operational, financial, staffing, contract, and data protection reports, using insights to inform decision-making and drive proactive change.
- Manage Data Protection and GDPR Compliance-Promote a strong data protection culture, oversee GDPR and Subject Access Requests, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and service level agreements.
- Coordinate Contract and Payment Governance -Manage supplier contracts, payment requests, procurement processes, and contract renewals while maintaining effective governance and stakeholder relationships.
- Support Business Improvement and Stakeholder Engagement -Coordinate compliance projects, regulatory reporting, business initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to improve operational performance and regulatory outcomes.
You have
- Experience in compliance, audit, or operational assurance
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Knowledge of data protection and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A well-organised and methodical approach, with the ability to manage deadlines calmly and effectively.
