Reporting to the Oracle EBS Technical Delivery and Support team’s Team Leader you will be mainly responsible for the day to day technical support and development of SSE’s business critical Oracle platform in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. With minimal support from the Lead Technical Specialist you will be involved in the design, development, and delivery of Oracle Cloud integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, LMS) and external systems. You will provide day-to-day support and quality assurance for a variety of customers. You will work closely with Technical Leads, Functional Leads, and Client Stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and performant integration solutions leveraging OIC, Oracle SaaS APIs, and complementary OCI services.
This role demands strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Visual Builder, and exposure to technologies such as Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle API Gateway, and OCI Vault. You are expected to mentor, own technical deliverables, and drive best practices for integration and automation.
You Will
- Design, build and support integrations using OIC including Scheduled Integrations, Application and Event Based Integrations using REST/SOAP Adapters for Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM) and on-premises/cloud applications.
- Work with Oracle SaaS services (ERP, HCM, SCM) to consume OTBI, BICC, FBDI, HDL, HCM Extracts and PVOs for integration scenarios
- Design and configure security components such as OCI Vault, Secrets, Certificates, and OAuth2 flows. Support DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation for OIC code promotion (optional but desirable)
- Drive performance tuning and optimisation for long-running integrations and large payload handling
- Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and guide junior developers and project teams
You Have
- Commercial experience in Oracle cloud technologies, including 3+ years in OIC and OCI Services: Object Storage, Libraries, API Gateway, OCI Functions, Autonomous DB (ATP/ADW), OCI Vaults, Streaming. Exposure to Multi-Cloud environments is desirable
- Familiarity with Oracle SaaS data models and common business processes (e.g., AP/AR/PO/GL, HCM/Payroll)
- Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and ability to lead technical discussions
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging OIC flows using diagnostic logs, audit trails, and activity streams.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud DevOps pipelines, Kubernetes or GitHub CI-CD for OIC promotion
