The role: As an Insolvency Advisor, you will manage customer insolvency cases across a range of business types, ensuring accurate documentation, financial integrity, and compliance throughout the process. You will investigate and verify insolvency status, support risk assessments, and play a key role in resolving financial obligations while protecting the company's interests.
- Investigate and verify insolvency cases using multiple data sources, creating and maintaining accurate case files and trackers.
- Manage cases from initial review through to final closure, ensuring documentation is complete, balances are accurate, and financial adjustments are applied where necessary.
- Support customer transitions through change of tenancy processes, issuing communications and monitoring responses to maintain continuity of service.
- Conduct risk assessments and, where required, issue statutory demands to mitigate financial exposure.
- Contribute to audit-ready processes by maintaining trackers, completing reports, and ensuring compliance with legal and policy standards.
You have:
- Experience working with financial, legal, or compliance processes, ideally including insolvency or debt resolution.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases accurately and consistently.
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records and trackers.
- Good communication skills, able to liaise with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders effectively.
- A proactive and structured approach to work, with confidence in following procedures and improving processes where appropriate.
