Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office – Glasgow, Perth, Inverness, Aberdeen.
Salary: £66,100 - £99,100 + car/car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The roles: We’re excited to offer opportunities for Engineering Managers within our Onshore or Offshore teams to lead multidisciplinary engineers in delivering innovative and value‑adding engineering solutions across our transmission project portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in providing a safe and reliable supply of electricity, supporting delivery of a Network for Net Zero.
- The roles in the Onshore team support delivery of major substation, overhead line (OHL) and underground cable (UGC) projects and asset replacement programmes.
- The roles in the Offshore team deliver major HVAC subsea experience welcomed but not essential.
A proven ability to manage risk, prioritise effectively and make sound technical decisions within complex delivery environments, with working knowledge of relevant legislation including CDM and safety‑in‑design obligations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly, negotiate and influence stakeholders, building effective working relationships across a broad range of internal and external partners.
