The role
Responsible for the day‑to‑day management of physical inventory, ensuring materials are received, stored, issued, and controlled efficiently. The role maintains accurate and up‑to‑date inventory records, supports effective stock control processes, and ensures materials are readily available to meet operational requirements. The post holder is also responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and well‑organised stores environment while adhering to company procedures and health and safety standards.
You will
- Receive and return store materials according to company procedures.
- Issue materials to personnel based on stock requests from the Resource Controller.
- Conduct regular stock checks and keep inventory records updated.
- Report inventory levels and discrepancies to the Resource Controller as necessary.
- Maintain general housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
You have
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
