Base Location: Reading, Slough and West London

Salary: £29,504 - £34,757 + London Allowance if based in London/Slough and a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

We are looking for 3 Traffic Management Drivers to join our busy team! As a Driver, you'll be responsible for:

  • Collecting, delivering and managing roadwork signs, barriers, and traffic safety equipment for highways and private sites.
  • Carrying out Category A, B, and C inspections in line with NRSWA and Code of Practice, assessing signing, lighting, guarding, and reinstatement compliance.
  • Recording inspection findings accurately using handheld devices or inspection software.
  • Maintaining depot stock levels of traffic safety measures and signs for road works and coordinating with teams to ensure availability of traffic management equipment across locations.
  • Performing driving and operational duties; assisting line teams using 4x4s, vans, lorries, and Hiab cranes, equipment installation, and material deliveries.
  • Working out of hours when required to support the business in responding to faults overnight and at weekends, on a rotated basis.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, holding a current UK driving licence, and qualified in NRSWA Street Works signing and guarding.
  • Physical demands covering all weathers, a ‘can‑do’ attitude, and excellent team‑working skills are essential.
  • HGV Glass 2 and operating a Hi‑Ab desirable.
  • HIAB Training and/or any experience of operating plant with relevant tickets/qualifications, are not essential but would be advantageous.
  • A high appreciation for safety in everything you do, and working with your team to promote a strong safety culture.
