The Role
ECS I&I Platform Team needs a Delivery Lead to join the team to embed Agile delivery in ECS allowing us to deliver more through agile. This role requires significant expertise and versatility as you will work closely with architecture and cross-functional teams to ensure that requirements are fulfilled in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include incorporating agile principles, promptly addressing any impediments, and leading both business-as-usual enhancements as well as key infrastructure projects. Additionally, active involvement in the Scrum of Scrums will be necessary to promote continuous improvement.
You Will
β Lead the delivery of infrastructure initiatives including cloud migrations, network modernisation, integration platforms, and database services, ensuring cost-effective use of cloud technology and AI integration.
β Drive both business-as-usual (BAU) improvements and strategic programmes, managing 3rd party suppliers and coordinating multi-vendor deliveries.
β Champion agile delivery practices, facilitate agile ceremonies, and remove delivery blockers, collaborating with architects and engineers to meet business needs.
β Coach team members on agile principles and delivery tooling, participate in cross-team forums, and ensure alignment with governance, security, and compliance standards.
You Have
β Proven experience in delivering infrastructure or platform projects in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
β Ability to bring insight, critical thinking, and improvement to existing processes and systems through streamlining and performance tuning.
β Solid experience in technical project management and a good understanding of the product ownership role.
β Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking (APIM, NSG, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Azure Portal, App Insight).
β Familiarity with security tools such as ASPM (Bionic), SIEM, and certifications like Cyber Essentials to demonstrate competence in security practices and
β Experience with user journey monitoring tools such as NewRelic.
