Salary: £50,100 - £75,100 + Bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role involves developing a robust forecasting model for the Customer Service Directorate at SSE Business Energy, providing accurate financial budgets and baseline assumptions to support strategic planning. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing short-, mid-, and long-term workforce plans to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance, and monitoring operational health through KPIs, agent performance, and customer behaviour.
- Overseeing analytical governance, informing AI and technology business cases, and delivering performance dashboards and reports to senior management.
- Working with department heads within the directorate to ensure people planning and management are of the highest standard and consistent across the organisation.
- Providing advice and support to Heads of Department in the directorate, offering challenge and technical input where appropriate.
- Promoting team working, knowledge sharing, and resource coordination across directorate functions.
- Identifying, designing, and implementing best ways of working to achieve maximum effectiveness and equality of access to services.
- Using initiative, being innovative, and seeking opportunities for strategic sustainable change.
- Developing strong working relationships with wider Business Energy functions and other internal support teams.
You have:
- Experience in a Strategic Workforce Planning role in a similar organisation.
- A degree in Business/Strategic/Data related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Financial awareness and commercial knowledge – Numerical, analytical skills.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- A track record of strong problem solving and analytical skills within a changing environment.
- A proven record of delivering efficiencies (Lean 6 sigma an advantage).
- Strong Microsoft tools knowledge e.g., PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Automate.
