Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations - Reading, Perth or Cardiff.
Salary: £58,100 - £87,100 + performance‑related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Responsibilities:
- Hold accountability for the end‑to‑end delivery of one or more large, complex programmes, often comprising multiple interdependent projects and workstreams, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, time, cost, quality and benefits, and in line with regulatory and business commitments.
- Lead the delivery of industry and regulatory change initiatives (e.g. MHHS, settlement, billing, or licence‑driven change), translating regulatory requirements into executable delivery plans and ensuring the organisation meets external deadlines and compliance obligations.
- Establish and operate robust programme governance, including production and maintenance of plans, RAID logs, financial controls, dependencies, and formal reporting to sponsors, steering groups and senior stakeholders, providing transparent assurance on progress and risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business stakeholders, regulatory and assurance teams, IT, operational teams and third‑party suppliers, acting as the primary point of accountability for delivery alignment and issue resolution across the programme landscape.
- Proactively identify, manage and escalate delivery risks, cross‑programme dependencies and change impacts, ensuring timely decision‑making and effective mitigation to protect regulatory outcomes, customer impact and business reputation.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience delivering large‑scale, complex programmes with multiple workstreams, senior stakeholders and tight external deadlines, ideally within a regulated or highly governed environment.
- Strong, hands‑on experience of delivering industry or regulatory change, including interpreting regulatory obligations, managing assurance inputs, and driving compliant delivery through business and IT change.
- Advanced knowledge and practical application of formal project and programme management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent), with a proven ability to operate robust governance, controls and reporting in complex environments.
- Proven ability to engage, influence and challenge senior leaders and programme sponsors, providing clear delivery assurance, evidence‑based recommendations and options to support informed decision‑making.
- Whilst supporting a team of project managers to enable best performance through coaching, mentoring and advice and guidance.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, including management of budgets, third‑party suppliers and delivery trade‑offs, with the ability to balance pace, risk, compliance and value in a pressured environment.
