Base Location: You will be expected to spend 50% of your working week in either our Dublin or Belfast office.
Salary: €49,400 - €74,200 (RoI) or £35,200 - £52,800 (NI) + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role:
- Our Commercial function drives forward the strategic vision for SSE Airtricity by providing optimised outcomes that balance risk and reward.
- A typical day might involve reviewing the wholesale energy markets to understand how current market prices may impact the price that we need to charge our customers and calculating the profitability of our current product offerings.
- This role will give the successful candidate an excellent understanding of the electricity and gas retail markets across Ireland along with an appreciation of the end-to-end business processes required to deliver complex energy products to B2B customers.
- You will support with B2B pricing strategy recommendations for new and existing products to enable us to deliver our strategic plan, whilst managing and mitigating risks.
- Provide pricing support to SME Sales to ensure that offerings are reflective of market conditions and in line with commercial guidelines.
- Manage trade requests in relation to Major Business customers on flexible contracts and ensure that a clear record of trades is maintained and that accurate prices are generated.
- Support with respect to the invoicing of Major Business customers who have complex requirements which involve manual billing.
You have:
- A commercial mindset, with strong attention to detail and the ability to break down complex problems to fully understand and deliver improved and effective solutions.
- Proven experience building Power BI dashboards.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Demonstrable experience working with complex data sets and modelling.
- Strong commercial acumen and a solid understanding of financial principles.
