Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office - Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness.

Salary: £35,200 to £52,800 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options available.

You will:

  • Lead PMO service delivery for internal governance activities, recommend solutions to strengthen PMO services by thoroughly mapping and analysing operational processes, pinpointing inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and driving improvements through process redesign, optimised data workflows, and enhancements to digital systems and tools.
  • Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support decision‐making.
  • Automate workflows and business processes using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps), improving efficiency, and reducing manual effort.
  • Perform advanced data analysis, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to inform business recommendations and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong, positive relationships and collaborate with cross‐functional teams, gathering requirements, defining problem statements, and translating business needs into effective data‐driven solutions.

You have:

  • An understanding of SSEN Transmission's business, goals and values, with familiarity of the LCP framework and the energy sector, including the licence obligations the business operates under.
  • A degree or relevant experience in process or change management, business analysis or continuous improvement, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) alongside solid capability using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint). Industry recognised Practitioner Certificate is required.
  • Experience in project or process management, ideally with exposure to supporting an internal PMO function.
  • Confidence leading discussions and meetings, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
