An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Procurement and Commercial function, to develop, implement and manage key initiatives within the Supply Chain Performance centre of excellence team and support the successful development and delivery of our projects across our Networks Transmission business.

Reporting to the Senior Procurement and Commercial Manager (Supply Chain Performance), the Supply Chain Manager will work closely with key stakeholders from our delivery directorates, the wider business unit and our supply chain. The implementation of these key initiatives combined with the positive engagement with stakeholders will support the wider business goals and objectives

You will

– Take ownership of specific subject areas/assist Supply Chain Performance team and be a direct contact for Transmission customers ensuring activities are undertaken in a coordinated and concise manner.

– Support the project delivery directorates with the co-ordination, engagement, reporting and monitoring of supply chain skills and resources.

– Analyse and understand data in order to use it in the best way to support our initiatives.

– Produce high quality reports and outputs that can be clearly understood by the relevant stakeholders.

– Supply chain performance management; collation of KPI data and production of KPI reports to help in assessment of supplier performance.

– Undertake supply chain relationship management activities, have oversight and ownership of supplier engagement for allocated suppliers.

– Develop positive and strategic relationships with our supply chain partners.

You have

– A Quantity Surveying degree / CIPS or equivalent.

– Experience in managing supply chain activities.

– Experience of the procurement process, including strategy development and implementation, ideally within a regulated environment but this is not essential.

– Experience of forms of contract, including contract drafting and contract administration.
