Salary: £38,966 - £45,905 + overtime available
- 37 hour basic working week with additional hours available as overtime.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Onsite
We have an exciting opportunity for a Linesperson to join our team based in the South of England. Even if you live outside of this area, we can provide you with accommodation for the working week. Operations are responsible for keeping the lights on; we are at the front line on the network. If we find a fault, it is our responsibility to respond to the fault and dispatch our skilled teams to fix it as quickly as possible. You'll be part of a great team carrying out various overhead line construction and maintenance. The role will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions, making sure our customers are never without power.
You will be:
- Mainly working as part of a team carrying out various overhead line inspection and maintenance whilst also carrying out work on construction projects on the 33kV & 132kV overhead line network.
- Responsible for the safety of yourself and colleagues, and act as an ambassador for a strong safety culture in everything you do.
- Required to respond quickly to emergency situations; we want to provide the best possible service to our customers in their time of need. This role can be demanding.
You will have:
- Proven electrical experience with a strong practical background.
- Demonstrated expertise in working on overhead power lines and tower structures.
- Relevant qualifications, such as SSE or equivalent DNO Operational Authorisations, and/or certified Tower Rescue training.
- Experience working safely and effectively outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A Full, valid UK driving licence.
